With production capacity of 84,000 MT per year, and a plant facility area of 194,550 M2, SSD has been supplying fabricated structural steel and plate works for major power & desalination, petrochemical, oil & gas, cement plants, steel mills, high-rise building projects as well as other industrial and commercial complexes within KSA, Gulf and to export markets, such as Algeria, Syria, Jordan, Portugal, Sudan, Cyprus, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan and others.

The latest Radio Frequency (RF) bar coding system is used for fabricated material tracking, control and shipping.

SSD Quality Management Systems are in conformance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and SSD has also attained ISO 14001: 2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007 Health, Safety and Environment certifications which resulted in the improvement of process efficiencies, safety of workforce and meeting the environmental requirement.

Furthermore, SSD is proud to be the first company in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, meeting the quality certification requirements for the Standard for Steel Building structures by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), USA.
